An Evening of Humor for A Serious Cause

Join friends and colleagues of veteran journalist Jerry Roberts at a roast to raise money for his legal defense and stand up for the First Amendment and a free press. A roast of Roberts, a dinner of the finest ballpark cuisine, a silent auction of works by award-winning photojournalists, Giants memorabilia and paraphernalia, fine wines and more.

legal playing field for journalists who have become targets of the owner of the Santa Barbara News-Press,
where dozens of journalists have left or been fired in a dispute over professional ethics. Jerry has been hit
with a $25 million legal claim by Ampersand Publishing, owned by billionaire Wendy McCaw, which
